Who are we?
Wood&Metal is a French non-profit association (loi 1901) founded in 2026, active both as a presenting organization and as the home of a resident chamber music ensemble in Paris. The resident ensemble brings together internationally acclaimed artists from around the world, joined regularly by guest artists for collaborative performances and cross-disciplinary projects — including partnerships with visual artists — that open new perspectives on the chamber music experience.
From its home in Paris, Wood&Metal presents performances throughout Europe and the United States, sharing its artists' work with international audiences and building connections between the music scenes of both continents.
Believing that music is experienced as much through audience connection as through performance, the association is also committed to educational outreach, engaging diverse audiences — from school groups to amateur musicians and music lovers of all ages — to keep chamber music alive and pass it on to future generations.
